Maxwell Roofing started in 2022 — and earned CertainTeed Master Craftsman certification fast. Not by being around the longest, but by refusing to cut corners on a single roof.
Jamie Maxwell runs the business and works the roofs himself. When you hire Maxwell Roofing, you're not handed off to a rotating crew of subcontractors — the owner is on site, accountable for the quality, and reachable when you need him.
That's the difference a small, elite local shop makes: the person who quotes your roof is the person who builds it and the person who answers if you ever need anything after. We'd rather do fewer roofs and do every one right.

What Master Craftsman actually means.
To earn it, a contractor studies CertainTeed's Shingle Applicator's Manual and passes CertainTeed's test on proper installation — it's a prerequisite for CertainTeed's ShingleMaster programs. Just as important, a correct, to-spec Master Craftsman installation is what helps keep the manufacturer's warranty valid. Atlantic Canada gets weather. When a storm takes part of your roof, the last thing you want is to fight an insurance company on your own. That's where we step in.
We inspect the roof, photograph and document the damage, and draft the report. We communicate directly with your adjuster and handle any supplements along the way. You sign the paperwork — we handle the rest. It's the part of the job customers thank us for most.
